Story
The only thing hotter than the weather south of the Mason Dixon line are the boys. Worn, faded blue jeans, slow southern drawls, and those naughty moments in the back of pickup trucks a girl never forgets. Welcome to the world of the Sutton boys. Five brothers who fight, party, and drink a little too much, but, more importantly, they love their momma. Nothing can tear them apart...except women. Especially a redheaded beauty with secrets.

Make sure to listen to both books in the series. Both are great, unpredictable and keep you wanting to listen til the end

Story
Renée Ballard works the night shift in Hollywood, beginning many investigations but finishing none, as each morning she turns her cases over to day shift detectives. A once up-and-coming detective, she's been given this beat as punishment after filing a sexual harassment complaint against a supervisor. But one night she catches two cases she doesn't want to part with: the brutal beating of a prostitute left for dead in a parking lot and the killing of a young woman in a nightclub shooting. Ballard is determined not to give up at dawn.

Great storyline with unexpected ending.

I read the reviews of negative comments in relation to the narration but I didn’t notice it during my listen. Found the story great and suspenseful as many of his books. Enjoyed it til the end.
