I went in blind to this audiobook and I was not expecting such a rich story! Huge character arcs and development and politics inside a cute tale of a Prince falling for the genius scientist who is socially awkward.

Nor was I expecting the level of dirty talk and spice! Whew!!

This was the first time I heard Shaina Summerville's narration. I enjoyed it and felt like she fit the character well. The only thing that kept throwing me off was that none of the female characters who live in Cara (Linnea, podcasters, etc) have an Irish accent. Whereas, all the male characters that Jason Clarke plays who are from Cara, have an Irish accent. Perhaps I missed something in the story that would have explained this. Jason is so talented to play so many different male characters and make them sound like unique individuals.

Really enjoyed it and now want to complete the series.

Really sweet story! Great palette cleanser. Dual style audiobook with Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York. Excellent narration.

It was a refreshing story showing a healthy dynamic between ex spouses coparenting their 3 daughters. He starts to fall for his daughter's teacher and has an age gap. Wasn't too spicy or explicit, no major drama. Highlights an aspect of depression and getting help.

Football Romance

5 ⭐️/ 3.5 🌶️

My favorite Sara Cate book to date!! I can’t shut up about it on social media. I love Lucas and Sadie so much. So many people are going to relate to these characters. Their relationship journey, their traumas, the emotion and spiritual heaviness. Gah. I loved it so much. Was hooked in the prologue and couldn’t stop listening. CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke are truly phenomenal in this duet style performance. Get the audiobook!!!

Super sweet story. Great for a palette cleanser or if you love a slow burn. It was a bit spicier than I thought it would be too! Two characters dealing with grief and growing together. Realistic pain and love.

Zachary Webber and Karissa Vacker are incredible. Both nailed all the quirky side characters. Zach playing the teenager, Indie, was golden. Audiobook is definitely worth it if you’re trying to decide btw reading or listening.

5 LAUGH OUT LOUD STARS / 3 Peppers

This duet style audiobook was next level HILARIOUS. Absolutely hysterical. CRY LAUGHING. Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke were outstanding. Definitely the funniest I've ever heard Jason.

This story is based on Maggie and Brody. Maggie is Hattie’s best friend (we met her in The Way I Hate Him). While Meghan has been known for some of her "messy" FMCs- Maggie is very put together. Brody is the messy one of this story. He is grumpy, awkward, and embarrasses himself over and over. Taking place in Bora Bora, this enemies to lovers tale will make you want to get somewhere tropical.

Get this audiobook. SO FREAKING FUNNY!

I LOVED THIS AUDIOBOOK!

Read this book last year and gave it 4 stars because I thought it was hilarious and also had a lot of bigger themes, like confronting toxic parental relationships and setting up boundaries. I could absolutely "hear" Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton in my head. Now listening to it, it is EXACTLY how I imagined it. Samantha and Teddy's comedic timing and banter elevated this story to a 5 stars.

If you love a romcom- this is your book. It has some How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days vibes.

Looking forward to the hearing the rest of the series in audio!

Tropes:
Childhood enemies to lovers
Fake Dating
Banter
