Clearly they did their research on the Orisha, but not how to pronounce it correctly? I get it - most people mispronounce Yoruba names it’s in character for them to botch it too… But still, so annoying.
Awesome book though.

After the old gods warred and drove themselves to extinction, the cataclysm of their fall shattered the land of Vigrio. Now, power-hungry jarls carve out petty kingdoms, and monsters stalk the shadow-haunted woods and mountains. A world where the bones of the dead gods still hold great power, promising fame, and fortune for those brave - or desperate - enough to seek them out. As whispers of war echo over the plains and across the fjords, fate follows the footsteps of three people. All three will shape the fate of the world, as it once more teeters on the edge of chaos.

The relationship between Plagueis and Sidious is more nuanced than Bane and Zannah. A very different take for very different characters. Well done.

Story
In the New York Times best-seller Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Drew Karpyshyn painted a gripping portrait of a young man’s journey from innocence to evil. That man was Darth Bane, a twisted genius whose iron will, fierce ambition, and strength in the dark side of the Force made him a natural leader among the Sith - until his radical embrace of an all-but-forgotten wisdom drove him to destroy his own order...and create it anew from the ashes.

A story is only as good as its villain. Bane’s story had depth, nuance and the charisma befitting his legend. There’s even a sprinkle of Darth Revan mixed in (can’t miss with Revan). A great read.
