Story
In a world where almost everyone has a superpower, Sam Archer finds himself with one of the most useless abilities of all - immortality. Sure, he can’t die, but he sure as hell can’t fight back either. If anything, the incapacity to die has turned out to be a hassle for Sam, with ridiculous requests for obnoxious favors being a primary concern. However, his coworker Lily Dodson is about to make his life a lot more interesting with her unique proposal. Warning: This book contains adult content that may not be suitable for all audiences.

Ridiculous and Unrealistic Fantasy Porrn
Reviewed: 01-03-22
Narration was somewhat decent. Story and plot line unrealistic and poorly executed. What could have been a very interesting perspective on the concepts explored, the potential plot was lost to minor plot devices used to facilitate more pubescent fantasies of polyamory. With every opportunity to explore the ideas and concepts squandered to facilitate more word porn, I kept being encouraged to stop the book and give up on it. finally at a third of the way through the book, the urge to give up on it won. So Disappointed in this book!

Great listen and read! This author really taps into the zeitgeist of nerd / fantasy culture! My life experience and history in popular culture is put on panoramic display as the author makes amazing reference to characters, shows, and movies that were part of my childhood world. These same instances are what drove me to love science fiction and fantasy!

Great Listen/Read but Something Left Out!?!?
Reviewed: 03-24-20
Overall another great listen/read! This installment delivers another strong story line to the series and leaves you wanting more! However, the author has the lead character/hero/protagonist making a promise that the reader/listener never gets closure on! I hope this loop gets closed in the next book! -No Spoilers!- Give it listen... the performance is outstanding! The characters are brought to life in a way that is engaging and highly entertaining. I have recommended this series to every friend and colleague and will continue to do so!

Story
Merlin’s final words haunt the Sentinel’s dreams. Kellan’s eidetic memory replays them with perfect clarity each night since he breached the guff and withdrew three human souls. Now, more than a year later, both he and his Soulborn wife are visited by an entity who channeled Universal power to enter our world from another. This Emissary of Destruction provides the young Sentinel with a gift of unimaginable power and a dire warning. This combination sets Kellan on a journey which takes him to the land of Fae. There he must gain support from the Fairy King and Queen.

Once again - R.W. Ross delivers an amazing and interesting read/listen! I am a sold out fan! These characters become the types of characters that you come to care about and live in your mind and heart. The story he weaves is engaging and captures your imagination in a way that brings your inner nerd out! The pop culture references hit you in the heart and make you part of the family. I am so grateful to have been introduced to the author and his books. (I met him at Dragon Con 2019) Since then, I have not stopped reading his books and listening to the audio books for extra life out of the books. (YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK AND ALL IN IT'S SERIES!)

Story
Out of the smoldering ruins of the war in heaven Archangels Raphael and Michael cannot believe the agreement made between God and his morning star, Lucifer. Unwilling to either destroy the fallen angel or leave him with a free hand upon the world, God sets in motion a struggle that will span the millennia from creation to present day. Two Sentinels are invested with the ability to bend the laws of creation to their will and each represents the primal forces of order and chaos.
