It was a great delivery and a compelling story of pain and processing in a healthy manner.

Story
Improving the performance of your employees involves one of the hardest challenges in the known universe: changing the way they think. In constant demand as a coach, speaker, and consultant to companies around the world, David Rock has proven that the secret to leading people (and living and working with them) is found in the space between their ears. "If people are being paid to think," he writes, "isn't it time the business world found out what the thing doing the work, the brain, is all about?"

Some applicable stuff, other ideas felt forced. Odd without the graphical activities to try out because of audio format only.

Story
For much of his life, historian Howard Zinn chronicled American history from the bottom up, throwing out the official version taught in schools - with its emphasis on great men in high places - to focus on the street, the home, and the workplace. Known for its lively, clear prose as well as its scholarly research, A People's History of the United States is the only volume to tell America's story from the point of view of - and in the words of - America's women, factory workers, African-Americans, Native Americans, the working poor, and immigrant laborers.

Intriguing

I’ve meant to read this book for 20 years. Finally got to it. Glad I did. Slight bias but that’s the point of the author to counter balance an abundance of thought and text book controlled from a few perspectives instead of many.
