This is another example of why Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of the best romance/fiction writers. I am not a computer nerd but absolutely loved the backstory in this book. Great job Nicole Poole on the narration.

Story
Honey Jane Moon is a scrappy little know-it-all - brave, smart, but ill-prepared to become the most famous child star in America, even though she’s not quite as young as everyone believes. It won’t take her long to drive the men in her life crazy. There’s Eric Dillion, a smoldering bad boy and one of Hollywood’s most gifted actors. And Dash Coogan, the last of the cowboy heroes, a man trapped on a screen too small to contain a legend. When Honey falls in love, she’ll do it the only way she knows how - with all her heart.

I’ve been a fan of Susan Elizabeth Phillips for years now. In the midst of life, I let “Honey Moon” slip by me. I found it a couple of weeks ago and am so glad I did! This book isn’t like many of her others. It dealt with several difficult issues and S.E.P. dealt beautifully with them all. The narrator is bloody BRILLIANT! Sometimes narrators make country Southerners sound stupid. This was not the case with Honey. Thank you Nicole Poole for one of the best performances I’ve enjoyed.

Mariana Zapata is one of my favorite writers. She has such an amazing gift for writing about hard topics. This Audible version did not fail to make me cry and swoon. Ha. I absolutely loved the main characters. I appreciate that Ms. Zapata has written a more love story between mature adults. The vocal actors were perfect! Thanks again for another wonderful book.

Very cute-more depth than expected

I give my honest review not because it was free but because I heard about this book from the author’s newsletter.
#1. The characters were believable and relatable.
#2. Touchy subjects were introduced with sensitivity and the bonded family was all the therapy needed.
#3. The author, Wells, got nitty gritty about TBI-ball, I mean football. I can’t stand it when a book (I know it’s fiction) gives false info about real scenarios. Thanks for that.

Story
The Frosts are a typical American family. Barb and John, married almost 50 years, are testy and bored with each other...who could blame them after all this time? At least they have their daughters - Barb's favorite, the perfect, brilliant Juliet; and John's darling, the free-spirited Sadie. The girls themselves couldn't be more different, but at least they got along, more or less. It was fine. It was enough. Until the day John had a stroke, and their house of cards came tumbling down. Now Sadie has to put her career as a teacher and struggling artist in New York on hold....

I was so incredibly impressed by the bravery of these medical transport nurses. This story is new to me. It really should be made into a movie. The facts about the plane crash survivors are even more horrific than told in this book.

Rex “TW” McMurtry’s perpetual singlehood wouldn’t bother him so much if all his ex-girlfriends didn’t keep marrying the very next person they dated, especially when so many of those grooms are his closest friends. He may be a pro-football defensive end for the Chicago Squalls, but the press only wants to talk about how he’s always a groomsman and never a groom. Bartender Abigail McNerny is the gal-pal, the wing-woman, the she-BFF. Abby is convinced no one on earth could ever entice her into a romantic relationship...except that one guy she’s loved since preschool.
