Cussy's not only a book woman, however, she's also the last of her kind, her skin a shade of blue unlike most anyone else. Not everyone is keen on Cussy's family or the Library Project, and a Blue is often blamed for any whiff of trouble.

This story made me aware of "blue" people. I had no idea that was a thing. Cussy Mary is such a compassionate human being. The ending has a surprising twist. Loved it!

The story line of this book started out promising. And, the ending was a surprise. But, the lack of intrigue and suspense in the middle was disappointing. I enjoyed the narrator's ability to bring the characters to life with the many different voices.
