Story
Motherhood is a challenge. Unfortunately, our worldly culture offers moms little in the way of real help. Mamas only connect to celebrate surviving another day and to share in their misery, rather than rejoice in what God has done and to build each other up in hard times. There has a be a better way, a biblical way, for mamas to grow and thrive. M Is for Mama offers advice, encouragement, and scripturally sound strategies seasoned with a little bit of humor to help you embrace the challenge of biblical motherhood and raise your children with love and wisdom.

I am joining the rebellion!
Reviewed: 04-13-22
The rebellion against mediocre motherhood that is! Everything about this book is excellent! I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is an absolute must-read/listen! I purchased a physical copy in addition to the audiobook because it is truly that good. I love when the author reads the book and this one is no exception. Abbie does a wonderful job! Her brand of humor comes through beautifully. It makes the book even more enjoyable to listen to but she doesn’t water down the conviction or the truth of scripture that might sometimes step on the toes of our culture and us if we are honest. This book made me take a good long look at my own views on motherhood and I am so thankful. I was encouraged with every chapter. Lots of great take-aways packed in these chapters. One example: “Hard is not the same thing as bad.” Abbie shares so much practical wisdom and her book is saturated with scripture. If you are looking for a Biblically sound book on motherhood that is countercultural, you have found it. I will definitely be re-reading this book. Thank you, Abbie!

This is wonderful story and beautifully read by Barbara. We loved the pace of her reading and the way she voiced each character. We loved listening to this book as a family. My children are 9, 7, 5, and 3. I highly recommend this book! A favorite of mine as a child and now as an adult reading along with my children.

¡Fabuloso! A must listen!

Incredible book! The narrator, Trini Alvarado, made this book come alive! Her excellent command of the Spanish language was pivotal in our enjoyment of this wonderful story of hope and family. The characters and places were vivid. I listened to this book with my three oldest children (5, 7, 9) and we all had tears at the end. I highly recommend this audio book!
