I learned a lot about history and about how the horse played a huge part.
Hard to imagine the big cities with all those horses.

Very good imagination that is impossible with our physics.
Do not really understand the communist rhetoric.

It felt pleasant and honest. He told stories that seemed to bring the characters to life without too much elaboration

I appreciated the perspective of a true artist. After i finished the book i listened to all of the U2 music I had. It sounded even better than when I listened to it in my youth.

The remorse she expressed about her behaviors, and how she belittled herself, which drove her into addiction was very familiar to me. I got clean about the same time she did and can relate to the feelings, self doubt, and hyper critical self examination she expressed so well. It is very important for us to remember what drove us to sobriety. I graduated high school in 1980 and SNL played a large part in how we all saw the world, and probably helped us to become addicts and alcoholics. I am glad she made it out, and am very grateful to her for sharing her experience, strength and hope.

Fredrick is getting better and better. I really needed this story to pull me away from all of the serious, learning stuff I normally listen to. I can really relate to the anxiety of having children, and the loss of people from your life. Great book.

I can listen to the up beat voice of Sandra Burr all day. She makes everything sound enjoyable, from the parts about possible space sex, to the very real matter of poop, how to collect it, and what to do with it.
Being a mechanical engineer, I wish I could have contributed to some of the designs.
