This was not my usual audible but I was pleasantly surprised. The narrators were awesome. I am sure I recognized Wesleigh S and Miles W voices. It reminded me, loosely, of a melanated utopia society. Check it out.

🔔 Spoiler Alert!‼️ 🚨 Maceo was a wild ride—and I was here for it. The narrators? On point. The ✍🏾- Kimberly Brown- She ate this sequel up and left no crumbs. Maceo was deep in love with Shar, and their messy situationship spilled all into the family business. He should’ve left her out of it (and I mean, seriously), but he didn’t—and that decision cost him big time. Him, his dad, and the whole crew took a hit. Now Sharina? She’s grown. She wanted in, and she made her choice—but whew, they both had no idea just how sideways things would go. Let’s talk about that villain though… sis was completely unhinged. Like, full-on delusional. And yep—she got exactly what she had coming. No sympathy over here. Only gripe? There were a lot of sex scenes—like, a lot. It started to feel like some of the story details got lost in the sauce. Still, I was locked in the whole time.Bottom line: loved listening, and I’d definitely recommend this one if you’re into drama, heat, and just enough chaos to keep your headphones glued.

I absolutely love ❤️ this entire series. LB does NOT disappoint. Absolutely one of the best penned 🖊️ authors. Azmir and Rayna, untangled their communications concerns and created their own memories. I was so happy to see the visualization of the love, family, and unity. Also, to even learn more about ADJacobs in LB’s other 📚 📕 .

I absolutely loved this book when I read it and even more when I listened to it. I am a fan of LB and - ALL - of her works. This book divulged the inner thoughts is a man heart 💔 broken without any answers. And yes, LBz universe of characters crossover is the best and I love how those details remind me of my other book-babes and one my all-time fav couples like Ashton and Tory. Although abuse is portrayed, LB is a master artist and takes care of each detail with love and sincerity and compassion. I love the growth of the family. Narrators were on pointe!

Kennedy Ryan has poured her heart and soul into this book. 📕 I’ve long been a fan of her work, often re-listening and re-reading her stories, but Can’t Be Enough is on a whole new, 💫 stratospheric level. 💫
From start to finish, I felt every moment—completely immersed in the lives of these characters. Even Z. 😳 Hen had me rooting for every win. And Mav? He knew who he wanted and didn’t hesitate—his intentions turned into action in the most satisfying way. Hen & Mav 💕🥰😍
The way Kennedy Ryan handled the legal case and the Alzheimer’s storyline hit hard. It was raw, honest, and emotionally resonant—she didn’t hold back, and it shows.
And let me just say—my two all-time favorite narrators 🎙️Wes & Jakobi 🎙️brought the story to life with a performance as powerful and moving as the writing itself. Absolute magic.🪄
I also loved how the book represented chosen family. 👩🏽🎓👩🏽💼I have several friends who don’t have children, and they are the most amazing Aunties and Uncles—spoiling the grown kids just the same. That dynamic was beautifully honored and respected here.
I can’t recommend this book enough. You won’t just read it—you’ll feel it. You won’t be able to get enough‼️‼️.

My bio might speak for itself, but I still have everything to prove. Everything to gain. Everything to lose. On the field, and off. I'm here for a reason, and Nate Richardson isn't one of them . . . except, he won't let me relegate him to a non-factor. Even knowing what's at stake, he won't let me pass him off. So I'll adapt. Open myself up. Dominate my position. Defend my right to be here. Who says a woman can't have everything? Or, better yet . . . who says a woman can't be a King?

Kota & Kreed were absolutely the cutest. Love shouldnot take time and I am happy theirs didn’t. Kreed stepped up and didn’t let Kota’s demanding ways interfere. Charity did an awesome weaving this black romance today. Yes, it’s has some mature scenes, but it’s good. I love how Kreed stood up the women who needed to be checked. What happened with his mom? I know it was shared but I was hoping for more in that situation. Great book overall and I highly recommend it.

The league didn't believe in me. I was the last pick of the first round. The Kings didn't believe in me. They low-balled my contract and mandated therapy to begin immediately. My coach didn't believe in me. But I get it; she's a female. The General don't halfway believe. He keeps threatening violence if I blow this opportunity. This chick I bagged at the first team event . . . Well, let's say she's listening. I'm a black, educated, and self-made man. I have no kids, and was rich and established before draft night. The odds are stacked against me, but I'll show them all.

The narrators were amazing! They truly brought the story to life and captured every emotion perfectly. The author did a phenomenal job of showing healthy Black love, selflessness, maturity, and the importance of family through strong character development.
Rutt is definitely a top-tier book babe—whew! And Parker? She held her own from start to finish. Rutt needed someone like her to help him grow, and their journey together was so beautifully written.
I also loved how LB weaves familiar characters into the story—Ragee, Chasing Sunsets, Brielle, and that dang Devine! It felt like coming home.
This book is easily one of my top favorites, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a story full of heart, growth, and maturity.

A Vivid and Compelling Story of Love, Family, and Real-Life Challenges
Reviewed: 04-04-25
This book was an absolute delight! Rae Lyse did an amazing job bringing a public school kindergarten (Venus) teacher to the forefront, shedding light on the special education evaluation process in a way that felt both informative and authentic. I also appreciated the nuanced portrayal of workplace politics—because let’s be real, they exist everywhere, and the principal’s shadiness was a perfect example of that.
Venus was a powerhouse, doing what needed to be done to support a co-parenting dynamic between a single mom and a single dad, despite the odds. Age was a recurring theme throughout the book, but rather than serving as a limitation, it was embraced in a refreshing and empowering way.
And let’s talk about the love💜❤️ story—who doesn’t adore a book-babe (Ant) who fights for what (and who) he loves? Ant was everything a devoted father should be, willing to stand up and fight for his family, especially his child and for the right woman who stole his heart.
Rae painted a rich, dynamic world with a perfect balance of brightness and shadow, making the story feel deeply real. The writing was vivid, the emotions raw, and the characters unforgettable. Narrators added to the author’s canvas. 💯I’ve listened to this book three times already, and the narrators only enhanced the experience. This is a must-read (or listen), and I highly recommend it!❤️
