Story
Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

loved it! the story, the narrator, the characters.

this was a well written book that had me literally laughing out loud. the store was great but the southern drawl of the narrator made it even better. the characters and culture of the South was so authentic. The main character was smartly written, witty, and slick.

Story
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

When You Succeed Against All Odds
Reviewed: 09-21-22
I love this book! It was a love story, a murder mystery, education on the old south as well as marsh lands wrapped all in one! It was a riveting story of how against all odds you can still survive, learn, love, and become an extraordinary person despite your circumstances. Kaya was smart and had the most determination of any character I've ever read about. Not only was this story interesting, it was so educational - learning about the marsh and wild life was truly eye opening.

What an amazing story. true and help had a love story like no other. Fate brought them together and the universe wouldn't allow them to be a part. So very happy with the telling of their story in addition to how it ended. It was a heart-wrenching love story but in the end love prevailed.

Story
When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

I'm not sure what I was expecting going into, but I can tell you one thing, I was not inspecting this to be a psycho drama about a wine receipt! they put so much emphasis on the freaking receipt/refund. also the story was incredibly long for it to not really be about anything except for an abusive guy whose ego was never checked as a kid. Not trying to spoil it for anyone else, but this one wasn't for me.

This Story Was So Good but So Brutal
Reviewed: 02-19-22
Realistic is the first word that comes to mind but brutal is the 2nd. This Audiobook was almost 20hrs and I finished it in 4 days. I couldn't stop listening but it was so realistic that my emotions were connected to the characters and as they began to have hardships and dwindle it became harder and harder to listen. But that's why people read books! to learn, to feel, to connect with the characters. It was a great read.

He Bared His Soul and it was Beautiful
Reviewed: 02-15-22
I think Will (the person) is great but this book was beyond my wildest expectations. If I had to say what enticed me the most, I would have to say it was his honesty and his willingness to share some of the many secrets and nuggets he's learned through out his life. The gems in this book were endless, I have notebooks full of quotes and little treasures that I'm applying to my life. What a beautiful soul and an amazing journey. The experiences he shared, the books he read, the transparency of his deepest most inward thoughts, his willingness to expose himself to find his truth, he tipped the scale and blurred the lines for me in what I often call "personal and private".
He bared it all in the most beautiful and capitvating way. This book was his gift to the world and I receive it.

Story
In Diary of a Submissive, Sophie Morgan candidly explains what exactly an independent, 21st-century woman gets out of relinquishing her power and personal freedom in a submissive relationship with a dominant man for their mutual sexual pleasure. In the wake of Fifty Shades of Grey, here is a memoir that offers the real story of what it means to be a submissive and follows Sophie's story as she progresses from her early erotic experiences to experimenting with her newly awakened sexuality. From the endorphin rush of her first spanking right through to being collared, she explains in frank and explicit fashion her sexual explorations.

The other did a great job expressing her true feelings and experiences throughout her diary of being a submissive partner. I thought the performance of the voice actor did a great job. The story was good, of course there were some parts that were a bit squeamish if you are not already into this type of lifestyle. However, it was great to learn about the lifestyle of a submissive person. Definitely open up my eyes to some things.
