I loved the different voices or tones used for the characters. It was easy to tell when a specific character or the narrator was talking. It was an incredible story that lifted you up and tore you down with the main character. I highly recommend it.

It has love, heartbreak, politics, adoption, abuse, and everything else that encompasses an incredible story. While it's not based on a real family, it's an incredible tapestry of realistic fiction

This was an excellent book. Those who were upset about her comments on the former administration clearly do not have the right intentions at heart. I enjoyed the fact that she gives actionable items and resources and mentions the fact that these issues aren't exclusive to women.
