Story
Charlie Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They've been in love since the age of 14. But as of this morning...they are complete strangers. Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love...every memory has vanished. Now Charlie and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why. But the more they learn about the couple they used to be...the more they question why they were ever together to begin with. Forgetting is terrifying, but remembering may be worse.

this was such a huge disappointment in Colleen Hoovers writing style. So painfully boring and I listened due to believing it would have to end on a high note. WRONG. THIS IS THE WORST BOOK BY FAR I GAVE IN MY AUDIBLE LIBRARY.

This is by far one of my favorite recent listens. This is a book I had trouble with when I had to stop listening for my own life's matters.
This is a must read/listen. Full of surprise and twists and turns yet filled with such deep honest emotions we all have as HUMAN BEINGS.

Superb writing: past & future lives equal whole
Reviewed: 01-25-25
I loved the way the author told two stories separated by time and in the end made whole by joining the characters lives to the present. The narration was wonderful for Matties character and yet the narration of Matties granddaughter left a bit of dislike in her speech.
I would highly recommend this book!

This book was selected because of the title details and the sample to include the WONDERFULLY IMPACTFUL VOICE of the narrator. She made this book come to life for me. I chose this book during a low spot in my life as a result of loss and major illnesses of family members. I needed something to distract my sadness and hold my attention. THIS BOOK DID MORE THAN I EVER ANTCIPATED it would be able to do for me emotionally. I will LOVE this story and song and have a new favorite book, narrator and author. BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST YET. Don't overlook this title because you think it mat be for younger listeners. This is an outstanding Nobel for adults of all kinds. THANK YOU FOR LIFTING ME UP WHEN I WAS SO DOWN!

Shame is awful and these characters endured more than anyone should ever have to over such things beyond control. Great story and wonderful blend of 2 different characters yet similar also. Loved this book and will watch for others from this author. The narration was superb.

Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Truly the worst memoir ever and a bit of disgust too. Who leaves that sort of legacy. Was there not anything g positive in all her life or did she choose to share such messiness for herself. So disappointed!

Narration by someone with acting talent... such absolute disappointment
Reviewed: 07-18-24
I am amazed by the poor narration performance by Meryl Streep. It was so unbearable listening to her lack of anything much more than monotone! The story was deemed uninteresting as a result. Such a shame as I toted with this book several times before purchasing due to her voice in the sample. NARRATION is EVERYTHING in how I determine if I am able to listen to a title. Don't risk this disappointment. ugh!!
