Story
Verity Long is proud to say she gets along with just about anybody—dead or alive. But she’s put to the test when her well-meaning boyfriend and her sweet-as-pie sister con her into a remote island “double date” weekend with her sister’s new flame and Verity’s long-time nemesis, Alec Duranja. Her plans to avoid the uptight police officer go up in smoke when the four of them team up for a weekend treasure hunt competition based on the island’s legendary pirate past. And it doesn’t take long for Verity and her team to discover more than game clues.

A Mystery within a Mystery

One of my favorite stories so far! I absolutely loved that this story had thought out twists and turns that haven’t been seen before while still staying true to the heart of the series. I loved the ghosts in this book and wished there was more of them and their personal stories!

Story
Amber Alton knows that the hours pass differently at Black Rabbit Hall, her London family's country estate, where no two clocks read the same. Summers there are perfect, timeless. Not much ever happens. Until, of course, it does. More than three decades later, Lorna is determined to be married within the grand, ivy-covered walls of Pencraw Hall, known as Black Rabbit Hall among the locals.

SO GOOD!

So worth the read! It was slow at first (you kept guessing what tied the story together), but the author did a brilliant job in tying it all together.
I never wanted it to end! The ending was bittersweet just because I wished it added a bit more on one of the character’s perspective on event, but at the same time it felt like everything came full circle and it wasn’t needed.
Again, SO WORTH IT. Don’t get stuck on the beginning because it does pick up, and the information at the start pops up again later.
