Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

After decades of research, world-renowned Stanford University psychologist Carol S. Dweck discovered a simple but groundbreaking idea: the power of mindset. In this brilliant book, she describes how success in school, work, sports, the arts, and almost every area of human endeavor can be dramatically influenced by how we think about our talents and abilities. In this edition, Dweck offers new insights into her now famous and broadly embraced concept. She introduces a phenomenon she calls false growth mindset and guides people toward adopting a deeper, truer growth mindset.

Very insightful life views. Awesome narration too
After a while listening to fiction novels, I have decided to try method audiobooks and, man, is this audiobook refreshing! The author goes over essential life tips, yet some of them are taken for granted by people, and this publication readdresses them with practical examples: gain knowledge, it's who you know, the more you know, surround yourself people who help you grow. I actually love it there are some f-bombs mixed up here and there. In this case, it adds a genuine touch of realism; as does the very wise narrator pick. The narrator has that 20s voice that incorporates authenticy to each statement and fully inspires. I took a thing or two out of this one. Highly recommendable.

Great lesson's
This is a fun and insightful book. I enjoyed the voice of the reader which always makes a audio book a success. I think this book belongs on all the shelves in schools and youth centers. Very positive and good advice that young adults need to know.

Worthy of your time, good advice, and interesting
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
After the first 3 mins of "...not being responsible..." and 'use at your own risk...', I was wondering what could warrant such a strong preventive measure. I found the book to have several good tips and enjoyed listening, but found the occasional use of strong language a distraction. I am not against the use of such language but choose not to use the words my self.
A good book for anyone looking for a positive change in their life.
I do not regret listening to it and found it humorous some of the time. Certainly agree with the authors' ideas and opinions on how a person can change their lifestyle, financial situation and relationships. I found the advice on being with your family worthwhile and letting the people who help you know you are grateful.
The narration was performed very well and had a good conversational tone.
A++

Great Book!
I was impressed by this book. I thought it would be all about Weird shit he did as a teenager and I was completely wrong. The author has got his head on straight. He has great insights as to what people should act like. Truly liked it a lot.

Motivational & must read/Listen for young entrepreneurs!
When I was listening to this book, I was struck by the sheer accomplishment of it... A motivational book written by a 20 year old!You have to be amazed by the achievement and maturity of someone so young. When I was that age I don’t believe i was self aware enough to show the perspective Alex shows in the contents of this book. ** Book contains some salty language, but it doesn’t distract from the messaging **. The narrator also does a splendid job! Well done Alex and Andrew !

Lessons learned
Full disclosure, I was given this Audiobook to give an unbiased review. I will do exactly that...
Lessons learned for Alex, 20ish recommendations that are worth of listening to. For me, I would have enjoyed a little more back story to give a foundation to stand on. Over all though, enjoyed the performance and information contained within this book. The reader for the information and the information should be pondered. In my opinion, the information is valid as well. I appreciated the opportunity of listening to this book and would've paid the reasonable amount of which it costs.
Appreciate it Mr Trubnikov and look forward to more books from you in the future.
