Charles Spurgeon
Charles H. Spurgeon wrote Faith's Checkbook after his "Morning and Evening" devotionals.
The readings are shorter, around two minutes, and also titled. These devotionals, written over 150 years ago, are very popular with Christians around the world.
An inspired reading by Christopher Glyn, with beautiful background music.

Charles said plenty in this audible, but just to summarize another thing he said that stood out to me was, "why run from house to house repeating a matter? Why not rest in the assurance that God is in our side? A quiet tongue makes for a peaceful heart." This has helped me to remain still in trying situations. Even though the enemy is very crafty at making you look like the bad guy, trust God, because his way is always the best way. All this reminds me of what Ron Olivier (an x convict who is now a pastor) said "whatever you're going through, put it in a bowl, God is baking a tasty cake with your life. But, be careful not to remove the cake too quickly from the oven." Find Ron's story on the Brooklyn Tabernacle's BT app.
Charles Spurgeon was introduced to me from another sister at the church and I am so happy with this faith checkbook. I will be reading more of his work.
