About this listen

Single mom Noelle hates Christmas. December never goes right for her, and her car breaking down blocks from her best friend’s house is just about right. And of course a gorgeous jerk shows up to help—until a whiff of a full diaper sends him running, just like every other man since she had her babies. Polar bear shifter Jameson loves three things: snow, an organized room, and more snow. Staying with a building full of bears, their mates, and children is trying enough without adding the prickly, sexy single mother to the mix. At least she distracts him from the chaos unfolding after a flu hits the building just days before Christmas.

With everyone else in quarantine, it’s up to Noelle and Jameson to save the holiday. It’ll take more than a miracle to get a tree and presents set up without strangling each other. Or maybe it’ll take a Christmas bear-icle….

An exhausted single mom reevaluates Christmas!

I liked the idea of a single mom raising twins who has no idea about shifters, and that she’s actually living in a building with them!
* But I thought that shifters are immune to
human diseases! How can they get the flu? *

Loved It!

I think this one was my favorite one of the City Shifter books. It was great and I enjoyed the dynamic between Noelle and Jameson. I hope to see atleast glimpses of them again. I look forward reading City Shifters: The Pack.

One small continuity issue: in the epilogue of Breaking Free it says Kara ( don't remember how it's spelled here) and Owen have a little girl that Nick suggests they call Nicola but in this book it says their 1st born is a boy. so I wonder what the timeline is there or was it just a oversight?

Did not finish

Just could not finish the story. I found Noelle incredibly difficult to like. She is rude and a hypocrite. Jameson was a likable character and the friend seems wonderful, however the description of Noelle’s daughters makes me grateful I don’t have children. The voice actors did a good job. All in all, this wasn’t for me.
