These classic stories were narrated beautifully. I remember most of them from my childhood. Thank you so much for bringing them back to life.

I listen to it every year. The stories make me grateful for what little I have. :) Merry Christmas!

This is quite an eclectic compilation of Christmas stories, some of which I found hard to imagine being Christmas-oriented. However, there are some Classics in here that are well worth a listen or a repeated listen. It ends with a really fabulously performed version of A Christmas Carol. If you want to be put in the Christmas spirit don't miss that.

What's You in the Mood

There were some worthwhile stories, a couple funny stories and some entertaining carols sung by authors, but unfortunately for me there were more bad stories than good. I would be remiss in not mentioning that the narration was excellent!

I wish the stories were indicated in the chapter headings so you could pick what you want to listen to, but the stories and narrators were excellent (esp Christmas Carol!! I’d never enjoyed it so much as this!)! Enjoyed it very much!!

Excellent narration and story selection

As a Dickens fanatic, I have to say that I have never heard “A Christmas Carol” read this well by anyone. It’s insightful and thought provoking. Harrison interprets as he reads. There is a slight buzzing on the recording, but I still give it a 5, it’s that good!!

Fantastic!

These stories represent a different time period than how Christmas is represented today. I liked most of the stories but not all. I can appreciate what these stories were for there time. The narration was great.

Great stories

I found several of these stories very enjoyable to say the least. It ws very fun to listen to some other stories instead of the Christmas carol. Some of the stories are a little dark in nature but others are great. If you have the time and want to be in the Christmas mood give these a chance.

Good Classic Christmas Fun

Enjoyed the stories, some I knew, some I'd forgotten and some we're new to me. They stirred fond Christmas memories and my imagination. Stories were various lengths 15 minutes to an hour or so. I added bookmarks to reference some of my favorite stories I wanted to hear again since there is no way (I could find) to reference a table of contents.

Lots of stories!
