Publisher's summary

A dutiful socialite. A focused cowboy. An impractical love.

Ivete Graham has spent her entire life doing what she is told. But when she learns her fiancė is a womanizer, she can’t bring herself to marry him, no matter how much his wealth and connections would benefit her family. After fleeing to her brother’s Montana ranch, she meets Thomas, her brother’s farm hand, and decides a dalliance of her own is exactly what she needs. Only she can’t ignore the feelings he stirs or the way he holds his honor higher than any man she’s known.

Thomas McMullin has spent eight years saving for a ranch of his own. When his dreams are finally within reach, a train robbery forces Ivete Graham into his arms, and he’s not sure if he can let her go. No matter that she’s his employer’s little sister or that she’s too rich for his blood. When his interest is reciprocated, he wonders if he’s merely a pawn in this rich girl’s game or if her feelings are true.

There are no guarantees in the Wild West.

Can Thomas and Ivete ignore who they’ve been to discover who they are? Or will reality rip them apart?

A Cowboy’s Vow is book two in the Aster Ridge Ranch series, after A Winter’s Vow. It is a clean romance and can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Excellent

UPDATE: I just, 7,26,23, listened to this book on audio. Loved it! I love how there is a woman and man narrator, it brings another level to the book. They both did a fantastic job in bringing this book to life. It makes me want to read more in this series. I love the way it was written. The author has the talent to immerse you in the lives of these characters. So, off I go to get others in this series. If you love LaVyrle Spencer or Jodi Thomas, you will love Kate Condie~~~~~

This book is the 1st book I have read by Katie Condie. It certainly won’t be the last.

I loved the way this author writes. Her vocabulary is excellent. It actually brings more to the story and her characters in this book.

The story was excellent. The characters are amazing. The flow of this book was perfect.

I saw this was the 2nd in the series. However, in my opinion, it is great as a stand-alone. I am going to go a read the 1st in the series. Why? Because I was intrigued by a few things that I read that pertain to the 1st book, her brother's story.

All in all. Excellent book.

Great narrators and a great story

I really enjoyed the narration of this book. I sometimes don’t like when male narrators read female parts but this one was good. I liked the different aspect of having a male and female narrator to narrate to the different points of view. The story was also enjoyable. The Astor Ridge series is always enjoyable!
