About this listen

Once more the fate of mankind rests on Satan's shoulders.

A stupid misunderstanding has broken a ten-thousand-year old contract between the fae and the angels, and humans are now paying the price. Fairies are crossing through portals and freely kidnapping men, women, and children without fear of reprisal. The humans have no idea what's happening to these random people, and the angels answer is to close the fae portals every couple of days and establish a committee to study the problem.

And nobody has time for that.

It's up to me to get the Seelie queen to back down, to bring peace to a war-torn realm, and to rescue a bunch of teenage fairy girls—all while planning my wedding. Because the solution to every problem is chaos, and that's what imps do best.

I love Sam.

I have listened to all 12 books. The books get better each time. Thank you. I hope we are going to get more.

Always Chaos Ensues.

I just love Sam and have read this series several times, all of Debra Dunbar books are automatic downloads as I do enjoy the chaos Sam gets up to. Side characters add to the enjoyment they all seem like old friends you get into trouble with, I love the addition of Lux, he’s a blast. I look forward to more books from this series. I also enjoy the new California Demon spin off series. Narrator is good.

A Crown of Imp and Bone is book 12 in the Imp series. I know it was up in the air for how many books there would be, but I think this is the actual last one. I love this series. I have been reading/listening to these books for years now and each time I revisit these characters and this series, it's like going home again. I liked this book, but I didn't love it. I think for the final book, I was hoping for more. More time with each of the characters, more feelings, and also revisiting more of the characters who were important throughout a big portion of the series. We finally made it to the wedding in this book, but I wished we could have seen more of it.

The narration was good. The narrator doesn’t have a wide range of voices but she does a good job reading the story and making it come alive despite that.

I recommend this book and this series. This is a series in which you need to start at the beginning and read each in order. I am looking forward to when I go back and start the series all over again.

So good

Just what you would expect: laugh out loud scenes, serious scenes and a book that moves with relative ease even though it’s a 9 hour book. I hope this isn’t the last in the Imp series.

Terrific story, amazing narration!

I love the creativity of the imp series. However, I have to say the narrator’s version of Dolly Parton is spot on. There were times I laughed so hard, I cried.
