Publisher's summary

Nicholas Hamilton was not in the market for a wife and family until his parents made him an offer he couldn't refuse. If he married Moira, the girl who his philandering twin brother had gotten pregnant, they would give him the money for his software startup company.

Marrying a woman and claiming her child as his seems a small price to pay for the business of his dreams, until he finds himself attracted to his new wife.

Moira can't believe that one night of bad choices means that now she has to marry a perfect stranger. If she can get Nicholas to invest half as much time in their marriage as he does in his new company, they might just have a chance at happily ever after.

Good But Totally Unrealistic

Yes you have to suspend belief, but I enjoyed it. The Hero was wimpy in places but he manned up... Some what in the end. The narrator did a good job.

Loved the Plot Twist

Moira and Nicholas find themselves in an arranged marriage. Nicholas is the twin that is always used to help the one out of scrapes that he is always getting into. Nicholas father is the one with the money but he is a wimp and allows his wife to dictate everyones life. She blackmails Moira into the marriage but in the end Nicholas and Moira are the ones who win because they actually find happiness. Which is something the mother-in-law/momther is searching for.
Not sure if I like the narrator. His voice was not exactly what I like in a narrator.

I was give this book in exchange for an honest review via audiobook blast.

Unique contemporary Arranged Marriage Love Story

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. There is quite a bit of drama and an overpowering mother that controls her family's life to the point of forcing her own son to marry a total stranger which claims to be pregnant with his brother's baby. Crazy to think of a mother being so calculating and manipulative.

Moira tried to do the right think and let her one night stand know that she was pregnant and having his baby. In a turn of events, she finds out he had just gotten married and his mother blackmails her into marring his brother! What an insane mother!

Nicholas has always had to clean up his twin's brother's mishaps but having to marry someone to cover for him was not going to happen until his mother bribes him with money to start up his dream company.

The narrator was ok. There is not much difference between female or male characters voices.

The story is written in dual POV which I enjoy. You get to know what they are both feeling throughout the story. It's a HEA conclusion. The characters are interesting and the story sucked me in quickly.

This book is good. The reader could have been a little

I love this book. The story is really cute. The main characters are very likable. The only thing I would change is the way it was read. Maybe a different reader would have made it better. But even with this flaw I have listened to it many many times.

Making Lemonade Out of Lemons

Nick and Moira are tossed together into a situation neither wants but both need in order to get/keep what they want. A very controlling momster/momster-in-law forces their marriage, but they are both good people who grow to love each other. Over time, they find real love in this very charming and sweet love story. This is my second audiobook from Jane B. Night, and both were excellent. I look forward to more.

Gary Roelofs reads the material clearly and with a reasonable amount of emotion and inflection. His male voices are great, and his female voices are OK. There were a few spots where the reading seemed a bit stiff. I did notice a couple of mispronunciations (it's my curse), but since I can't remember exactly which words were mispronounced, it was apparently not a big deal, and I only mention it because I do tend to point them out and don't want to be seen as being inconsistent or unfair. Overall, I thought he has a good choice, though I'm really starting to prefer the dual narration team choice because it is rare that a narrator does "excellent" voices for the opposite sex. A Family for Nicholas

“This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.”

A modern romance with some predictable situations. Quick to listen to when a person wants a bit of light listening.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.

Sweet story overall

While I was a little disappointed that it was only one narrator throughout, the plot was overall sweet and romantic. There wasn't any big drama or action but still a nice placid story.

Heartwarming

This book had an interesting premise. Nicholas Hamilton marries Moira after she gets pregnant with his twin brother's baby. His overbearing mother forced him to marry her so his brother Alex's political career would not be tainted with scandal. In return, Nicholas had his video game company funded. There is a huge rivalry between the brothers, and though Nicholas loves his brother, he cannot get over the fact that his new wife is just another of Alex's leftovers. Over time, Moira begins to integrate their lives, getting to know the employees of the video game company and staff, taking an interest in the things Nicholas is doing. When Moira is diagnosed with an incompetent cervix(after an altercation with brother Alex), Nicholas begins to see Moira is now his family and the baby is his little girl. A few twists and love wins. Very enjoyable story.

The narration was warm and friendly.

Modern Day Arranged Marriage

This is a lazy afternoon light reading book. It is essentially about a modern day arranged marriage and how family struggles with a controlling family can effect your life. The story shows how love can grow despite the situation. I enjoyed the story and it end well but I couldn’t help but feel that something was missing....not sure what..

The narration was a 3 star listen. Because the narrator has deep voice, his male voices sounded very good but the female voices were lacking a bit. (We romance listeners are very fussy about their narrators and tend to be more critical.)

There is Adult language and sexual encounters.

A Rocky Start..

Any additional comments?

I was a bit hesitant about this book at first, I mean Nicholas, the male lead, marries the girl his twin brother, Alex, impregnates?

The story was written in multiple Points of Views which was an added bonus.

It was not as complicated as I had first thought it would be.

The relationship got off to a rocky start but eventually a love was slowly formed.

The narrator, Gary Roelofs did a good job. I think he would do well reading children's stories.
