About this listen

My autobiographical account of a semi-long-term relationship with a mentally disturbed prostitute. It was much better than this description makes it sound.

Interesting

This book is a lot more interesting than it sounds. A short story about dating a mentally disturbed hooker sounds like a work of fiction, and it was just as entertaining! Excellent narration by Rick Gregory!

As Oddly Engaging as the Title Itself

I was thoroughly engaged from the opening line to the final sentence as I listened along. The voice of the author is as exposed and raw as the subject matter itself. Rick, the narrator, perfectly captures the awkward reflective nature of a doomed romance that never had a chance to be anything more than that. Do yourself a favor and listen to a story that you won't soon forget.

A Day In The Life

I expect that this is a representation of a few days in the life of two people we would see on COPS. Provides a glimpse in the troubles you have when you are and date a hooker. Rough and depressing life for sure.

Rick as always did a great job with the narration. His narration and character voices were more subdued for this reading which tells of the mood of the story.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

A different story with a great narration

I didn’t know what to expect from this one but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It describes the details about an episode in the life of the author, and the sordid reality of dating a woman with an inusual baggage.

Short, with lots of realism, and definitely different than the rest.

Rick Gregory’s narration was stupendous. He narrated this book in a beautiful and subtle way.

I received a copy of this book in audio format from the narrator in exchange for an honest review.

Weirdly Realistic

So, I'm not sure if this story is fictional or autobiographical. It's so realistic, and gritty, it's hard to tell. Sad and painful to listen to, yet this story could possibly help someone else either to cope with the fallout, or to stop the self-destruction. It's a winner, either way, both in the writing, and in the narration.
