Dale was still a baby when his parents realised that something wasn't right. Worried, his mother Nuala took him to see several doctors, before finally hearing the word 'autism' for the first time. I absolutely loved this book, I had to pick a book for my special education class and this one stuck me as one to read!! and I did the audible book and it was like I was talking with Nuala. like she was telling me a story!!! highly recommend!!!

This book exceeded my expectations. The tenacity and perseverance of the people in the story is inspiring. My favourite part is when Dale told his mum that he loves her for the first time, and they way Dale becomes his moms rock to help his little sister.

This was a very well written book.... easy to listen to and well balanced; in so much that it explains clearly at times we have to step outside of the proverbial box in order to rescue our children from the plague that is known as autism!!!
