It’s the perfect job for someone who loves technology and control—until a glitch in the system changes everything. Now her boss is upset, her neighbors are livid, and Mia is utterly confused. Her system never glitches, and Mia smells a rat.
Or in this case, a hacker!
She’s working late to find the culprit when things go from bad to AWFUL. The body of a murder victim turns up in her office, her best friend goes missing, and the handsome new head of security names Mia as his prime suspect!
Eager to clear her name and find her missing friend, Mia puts her keen wit and relentless determination to work, but will she gain the real killer’s attention in the process?

Story
This is the day my life changes forever. It started so normally. The alarm went at 7am. My husband made bacon and pancakes for me and our seven-year-old daughter, the kitchen full of chatter and laughter. He gave me a quick kiss, told me he loved me, grabbed his wallet, and rushed off to work. Just an ordinary day. Until I get the call from the school. It was Tom’s turn to pick up our daughter. He must be held up for some reason. I find Tom’s phone under our bed. Now I know there’s something seriously wrong. I scroll through his messages. A text sent late last night: I KNOW EVERYTHING.

An interesting new to me series
I’ll admit that I figured out pretty quickly who the killer was it was the reason that I hadn’t figured out. I’m leaving forward to the next book in the series.
