My night with the duke.
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook that was well written, and the author brought the characters to life. Eden is a widow; her husband slept with her best friend and was killed by a jealous husband. Max is a duke looking for a wife to help raise his niece. They enjoyed a one-night encounter at a masked ball and then went their separate ways. Max does not know it was Eden who he slept with. This book was fun to listen to and I enjoyed the happy ending.

A Lady Never Tells!
This is the first story in the "Lady Be Wicked" series. It is a stand alone read that is addicting, captivating, intriguing and heart warming. The story is about Eden, the Countess of Moreland, and Maxwell, the Duke of Carrington. She is a young widow that was humiliated by her husband before his untimely death. She lives with the scandal that he caused. One night she decides to be daring and attends a masquerade ball and shares a night of passion with Maxwell. The passion between them sparks and hunger but he does not know the masked lady. Eden, is helping her sister-in-law, Lady Roslyn, as she makes her debut into society when she crosses paths with Max. Sparks fly but he does not realize that it was her that night. Max is on the hunt for a wife and he believes he wants an innocent but he is drawn to the young widow. I really loved this story from beginning to end. Eden has lost faith and trust in men, she is determined to never marry again. Can Max convince her all men are not like her late husband?

Sweet Regency Romance
This is the first book in the Lady Be Wicked series, a Regency Romance. I loved it. Eden and Maxwell's story is sweet, and heartwarming. Eden is a wonderful character. She is a young widow, and a Countess. Maxwell, a Duke, is very handsome, and caring. They are perfect together. Stevie Zimmerman did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to more in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Captivating Start to a New Series!
This is the first installment of the series, Lady Be Wicked. I listened to this as an audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although, there was never any doubt in my mind that I would because this is definitely one of my favorite authors.
Eden is a widow, and frankly happy to have her freedom and live her life as she pleases. She doesn't have any desire or wish to remarry. Maxwell is the Duke of Carrington and is ready to find a wife. Eden captures his attention, but she is determined never to marry again. She is also carrying a secret, and her and the Duke have met before, but he doesn't remember when. That must be why he simply can't get her off his mind.
The story is sweet and captivating and I was completely immersed from start to finish. The narrator did a lovely job of bringing the story and the characters to life. I enjoyed the story from beginning to end and look forward to continuing the series.

Steamy One Night Stand Romance
Widow Eden has a night with Max at a masked ball. She didn’t provide her identity, although why didn’t he wonder when they spoke a few weeks later at a ball. Max wants Eden, but he at first sees her as lover and not wife material because she’s not a virgin and is considering her sister-in-law Roslyn instead. But he reconsiders at a house party as they became closer, if only he can convince her after a terrible marriage that ended in scandal to take another chance on marriage.
I liked the British narrator with her accent, infections, and voice variations depending on the character.

I enjoyed the narration of Stevie Zimmerman, who brings the angst, characters and heat to your ears.

Right amount of angst and heat.
