About this listen

Fairy tales...you've all read them. Cherished stories of magical characters, wicked stepmothers, enchantments, and adventure. But what if everything you believed to be good and true was a lie? What if the actual truth was an even greater tale?

Listen to the accounts from those who lived them. Just how did Rumpelstiltskin turn straw into gold? Who was the giant in Jack’s story? Were Red Riding Hood and Alice really that innocent? Why did the Pied Piper lure the children away? And who is asking all the questions?

A Likely Story is the first book in The Villain Files, essential listening for anyone who wants to discover the real story behind their favorite fairy tales. Sometimes, the truth is stranger than any fiction.

This book is a fun ride from start to finish. The new twists that were put into these old fairytales give a fresh new perspective and make you question everything you thought you knew. Fn, fun, fun, especially if you have younger children to enjoy this with. They will chuckle with glee at hearing how their lovely, innocent heroines/heroes are perhaps not so innocent. A joy to listen to with a resounding 'hurray!' for the wonderful narrator.

A fun new twist on old fairytales.
