I really enjoyed this book! I just love the characters and the by play between them. The way Shelby has to work between the good and the bad to keep every body happy is fun to listen to or read. I also found the introduction of the dog amusing and can't wait to see how that will develop in the next book.
Shelby is called in when the police arrest a man for murder and 'Dimples' believes they have the wrong man. Of course the case get complicated when she turns to Uncle Joey's right hand man for help. You would think being able to read minds would make life simple but not for Shelby especially in some of the situation she finds herself in.
The narrator was very good and easy to listen to adding to the fun of the book. I would recommend this book.

Shelby is always on an adventure. Her mind reading abilities get her into some hot water. Luckily she always has people to help her out. I enjoy all the characters in the book. Even Uncle Joey is like able. Shelby being the nice person she is wants to get an innocent person free from jail. Which ends up her getting kidnapped and shot at. But like her adventures it has a happy ending. I would definitely recommend this series.

This novella is a great story, engrossing with plenty of action. If you are thinking about reading the Shelby Nichols series, listen to this quick, faced paced story. A stay at home mom that gets psychic abilities from an accident, now consults for the police and oh, a mob boss and a hit man? That is a sticky situation in itself. What did Shelby get into now? Will she make it out ok? Really good story and a good series. Exciting ending. Give it a listen.

As always Shelby takes us in a roller-coaster of emotions and in this short story she even finds a new skill. Between laughs and bitting fingernails we spend a great time. Now for the next one...

Delightful blend of humor and suspense in this fast paced novel. Shelby is delightful and so is the narrator, Wendy Tremont King. Wendy hits the target in portraying the lead character, Shelby Nichols. It's good that Shelby is easy-going and pleasant, otherwise her talent of reading people's minds could be painful. But, she has a way of brushing off the negative that makes you feel good about her and her crazy life. I can see why the police, the CIA and a gangster boss all want her assistance and with the way this book is written, it all makes sense. This series has given me hours of pleasure.

The story was very enjoyable, “short and sweet”. As usual, Wendy Tremont King did her usual excellent job bringing the story to life. Even though the story was short, it had all the qualities of a good full length story. A very nice treat. Thank you, Colleen Helme.
