Sex wasn’t supposed to be part of the deal.

Three years into a marriage of convenience, Molly’s high-powered CEO husband wants to add a new term to their marriage agreement. Sex—without any messy emotional entanglements. But weekly sex with Luke, despite their carefully negotiated terms, is likely to get messy eventually.

Content in a mutually beneficial arrangement, Molly isn’t going to fall for Luke the way she fell for an old lover, only to be crushed in the end. She vows to stay strong, no matter how much intimacy develops between them in bed. When her old lover returns, finally wanting a real relationship, Molly has the chance to give her heart to a man who will accept it.

It’s too bad she now wants to give it to her husband, who has never admitted her heart is what he wants.

I absolutely loved this book! I can’t believe I’ve read it 3 times without leaving a review. This author just has a way with a love story that keeps bringing me back. So romantic — not all love stories are actually romantic; sometimes they are more like battle zones. I hate the “dark” romances where the H heaps emotional (and sometimes physical) abuse on the h! Ms. Adams books are the opposite of that. Tender love scenes that are steamy without being sleazy.are one of her hallmarks. You almost feel the emotion in the story, Kudos Ms, Adams!!
P.S.
Some of the other reviews talk about how this story is not “realistic”. Well, duh!! Who reads romance novels for realism??
Don’t we have real life for that??🤣🤣🤣

This one is on my favorites list

Any additional comments?

Not a bad book, just a simple easy read to pass the time. It has a marriage of convenience plot and not much character development. But to be honest, I didn't expect a lot from this book, I was looking for a good fluff book to read as a pallet cleanser between really heavy plot novels. All in all, it served its purpose. I read it in one afternoon.

Overall okay, fluff book to pass the time

I bought the audiobook because I love this book so much, but the narrator’s male voice is such a turnoff and terrible. It’s almost like a weird hobbit voice

LOVE this book, HATE the narrator’s male voice

After listening to a dark story I like to lighten things up with a little bit of fluff. This book delivers! No it's not serious literature, just Calgon take me away stuff.... I think I just dated myself with that reference!

Save your credit and buy this one.

Good fluff!

Number(1)...The guy in this story must be pretty darn conceded and stupid to think he needs to get married in order to fend off all the women's attention and the woman in this story must not be too bright either if she thinks marrying someone just to get back at another would hurt that other person...the only one it's hurting is her.Does anyone care about the sanctity of marriage these days? All that aside,Molly and Luke make the"business "arrangement work for nearly three years before things get complicated and one ends up"renegotiating the terms of their agreement which further complicates things. After three years of living together, working together, they realize that feelings have gotten involved,(you think!)and they decide to make their fake marriage a real one.

An Unrealistic Proposal
