About this listen

In New York Times best-selling author Victoria Laurie's newest Psychic Eye mystery, Abby Cooper has one rule to follow: Don't panic!

Professional psychic and FBI consultant Abby Cooper has used her inner visions to get her out of many a scrape - and solve many a crime - but she's about to face a murder scene that will put all her powers to the test. Abby's husband, Dutch, has a side business providing security and building panic rooms for wealthy clients. One morning, one of Dutch's partners, Dave, goes missing on his way to meet a client. Abby's intuition tells her something terrible has happened to him. Then two of Dutch's clients are found brutally murdered...inside their brand-new panic room, and most of the evidence points to Dave as the killer. With the authorities racing to find and arrest him, Abby's got to use all her intuitive prowess to get to Dave first, discover the real killer, and save her husband's business. This is one case where Abby is positive there's far more to this mystery than meets her inner eye....

Abby Cooper and friends solve a most delicate mystery involving Dutch’s side business and their handyman Dave who stands accused of murder!!

Well written as usual and a definite can’t put down book. Laurie once again brings Abby and friends to a critical moment leaving the listener to believe all might be lost but then the answer comes to her.

Elizabeth Michaels performs the audiobook expertly. She has become Abby Cooper! She reads magnificently!

No issues with the production or quality of the audiobook.

Totally awesome!

Victoria Laurie never disappoints with Her Abby Cooper series. I absloutley adore Abby and her sense of humor, and all the supporting characters hold their own as well.

4 stars

Story: 4 stars

Narration: As always, this narrator does a competent job while reading this series. However, I don’t enjoy her ability to portray the male voice. In fact, the voice of Brice sounds like an old lady to me.

Plot: Dave goes missing. The Old Lady calls Abby early and says Dave never came home. There is evidence/witness who saw Dave’s silver truck go off the road and down a hill. Upon inspection, the truck is gone. A few days later, Dave’s Old Lady also goes missing.

While looking for Dave, Abby and * find a gruesome/brutal crime scene. A big bloody handprint on the wall ends up being Dave’s blood.

I highly recommend this story.

A strong finish to an interesting series

This series always has good plot lines, fun dialog, and some twists and turns. Spend the credit you won't be sorry.

Count on these for a good read

Great storyline! Victoria Laurie never fails to deliver a good plot with plenty of twists. My only issue was that Abby seems to forget she is a psychic in this story. Other characters have to remind her to use her intuition throughout the investigation. It actually got a bit annoying. Also, there was a key clue that no one (in the story) seemed to pick up on until WAY into the story. Had me banging my head on the table b/c it was something pretty obvious in my opinion. (Dave+truck+timeline) I may be nitpicking, but only b/c I love this series. Still liked the book overall & would recommend!

Good story- Two little things

If you like stories about psychics and how their gift works then you’ll like this story. This story was seemingly longer than her other books and I wish Abby had spent more time demonstrating her gifts-that’s why we are all here.
I am being made to feel that Ms. Laurie was pushed to go more light, main stream. My guides are telling me I learned what I was meant to learn from this book and that is I CAN TEACH OTHERS TO LISTEN TO THEIR INTUITION-thanks

Last Psychic adventure with Abby Cooper-sad

Over all a good book. The only thing I could do without out is the use of the F word.... I can't understand why you feel the F word enhances this books story line...

Good book can't wait for the next book

Any additional comments?

I usually like this series. While I enjoyed the story overall, the constant reference to an AR15 as an assault rifle that was akin to a machine gun was extremely irritating. If you’re going to write about something, learn about it first!

Pretty good...but
