If you could sum up A Perfect Time for Pandas in three words, what would they be?

My daughter and I have listened to every Magic Tree House on our many long distance trips to doctors. I have never been disappointed in any book. I am always excited about the conversations sparked by the history of the stories.

Pandas are a wonderful subject for one of the Magic Tree House books. The kids love them, but they learn here some of the realities of life for these endangered animals.

This is a terrific series, and it's nice to have an audible version. Can't help wishing, tho, that Mary Pope Osborne would allow someone else to "read" them. She obviously cares about the material, but I think children would benefit from a professional narrator.

Where does A Perfect Time for Pandas rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

We are really enjoying following Jack and Annie on their adventures.

Would you be willing to try another book from Mary Pope Osborne? Why or why not?

Yes, we've listened to them all

Have you listened to any of Mary Pope Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

All of them. It's good to follow them in order, they are accumulative.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If you're driving any distance yes.

Any additional comments?

I'm noticing that Mary Pope Osborne isn't reading Annie as a whiny little girl anymore. It's good to hear that, because I don't read Annie that way. Jack is maturing, and it's great for my children to perceive the growth they achieve through their adventures.

It's good to follow the growth of Jack and Annie
