About this listen

Everyone knows the first time you meet that special someone: Your eyes connect from across the room, and you smile and work up the courage to say hello. It’s a simple feat for most people, but not for Trevor Friessen, who struggles to fit into this world and thinks he always will...that is, until he meets a girl who is as different from him as she is the same.

“Our families and everyone around us, what they don’t understand is that we too feel love.”

I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read any other books by Lorhainne Eckhart but I was pleasantly surprised. From what I understand there are many books that continue the story of this family. There wasn’t a HEA but it was a good piece of the family’s story. The author did a good job of demonstrating the adults who had disabilities and there were some funny parts. The narrator did a great job, smooth reading and easy to follow the different characters.

Continued saga but enjoyable on its own
