This is a fun story. There is a “groundskeeper “ who manages to capture a couple of the bikers. The club, along with a psychic from another club, race against time to find the missing bikers.

This book was a lot of fun. I laughed out loud more than once with all these big tough guys dressing up for Halloween and having to be subjected to *gasp* the horrors of glitter face paint! The dark twist in the middle of all the fun was great and Joe Arden doing so many accents was fantastic. Definitely recommend for some short Halloween entertainment. It could even be enjoyed as a standalone without having read any of the other books in the series.

This Novella was simply amazing! K.L. Savage, Halloween theme, and Joe Arden narrating.... umm, yes please! I enjoyed the story of the Ruthless Kings MC hosting and creating a Halloween party for charity at their compound. (I always love these big Alphas are kittens in their hearts, and their level of commitment,love,sacrifice to each other is so endearing). But, someone else has other plans for the MC’s.. The Groundskeeper. He has a vendetta against the members of the MC, and has plans of murder to at least one club member. There are so many twist and turns in this one, it keeps you on your toes, and in true K.L. Savage fashion it is so descriptive you feel like you are there!
Ok... let’s talk about Joe Arden’s narration! He does over 10 different characters, each has their own unique voice and speaking style. Joe at one point flows so flawlessly and believable between so many characters during a meeting in the book. I am so impressed by that!(Thats a hard thing to impress me that much).
*Joe’s voice as the The Groundskeeper..... holy moly, it was deliciously creepy. My favorite!
Side note: this one will make you want to have tacos;)
The last line of the book is hilarious! Can’t wait to read about my favorite character Tongue!

This was a very fun novella. I got sucked into the story right away.
There is a lot here, thrills, creepy chills, sexy times! Joe Ardens narration was spot on, he had a lot of differing characters and played each one distinctly. The creepy factor he added really made this a great listen.

I stumbled upon this book doing a reading challenge. I have not read any of the other books in the series, and it didn't matter. This book was so freaking good! Joe's performance was AWESOME and I'm sure he had fun narrating with all the different voices and accents. I wasn't a huge fan of the female narrator, but it was also my first book of hers, so I'd be willing to give her another shot.

The Ruthless Kings have decided to host a Halloween party with the proceeds being donated to a local rehab. The club is on high alert as opening their gates to the community will allow anyone, already in disguise, on their compound, and unbeknownst to them, the MC has already caught the attention of The Groundskeeper.

The game has already started and they only have until midnight to solve a series of clues before they lose a beloved member. Who's missing? With all those painted faces and disguises, are you friend or foe?

Narration: Wowza! Joe was great narrating EVERY. SINGLE. MC. MEMBER!! Joe sets the scene with his eerie reading of the dedication. My favorite of all was his portrayal of the Groundskeeper. He made him sound so sinister and apparently I have a weakness for diabolical villains. This may be a novella at under 2.5 hrs of audio, but it's a crazy and intense ride!

Filled with dark twists and turns, A Ruthless Halloween by K.L. Savage was a short but thrilling piece of ear candy. K.L. takes us on a countdown storyline brought to life by narrators Sierra Kline and Joe Arden.

I really enjoyed getting to meet more of the Ruthless Kings as we get multiple POVs in this quickie. There are some truly chilling and also surprisingly funny moments in this story.

Sierra's moving performance as Sarah allows us to feel the love and fear she has for her family. Joe does a fantastic job voicing multiple characters and bringing out their distinctive personalities and desires. His acting abilities and impressive range of accents are just a few reasons he is a favorite.

What a dark novella! I loved every second of it. The details in how everyone was taken, the seer's visions, the love the members have for one another. It's all there. Spooky. Just as a halloween tale should be.
As always, Joe and Sierra knock the narration out of the park!
On to the next!

*Plot* The Ruthless Kings are ready for Halloween! The hilarity starts right away in the clubhouse with the usual suspects. Their memorable banter and playful ribbing had me cackling like a witch. On Halloween, the celebration is cut short when two members of the Ruthless family go missing. It's a race against time to find their loved ones, transforming the story into a fast-paced thriller. Reaper and Sarah are the focal couple in this selection. Don’t worry - you don't need to have read their book to feel their chemistry and genuine love for one another, despite hardship.

*Narration* Joe made me smile right out of the gate while reciting a Halloween rhyme. Throughout the story, Joe expertly voices multiple Kings at the same time. Whether they're taking part in a spirited MC church service, organizing a search party, or deciphering clues, it's obvious who is speaking thanks to Joe's tone and pacing. Sierra Kline shows believable emotion as Sarah. While voicing the bikers, Sierra's male voices are clear and smooth, without a severe shift in her vocal tone, which makes for a fluid listening experience.

*Style* As usual, K.L. Savage transports the reader directly into the action with her vivid description. I ran through the dark woods with the crew on a desperate search and felt anxious and helpless alongside the missing characters - all while safe in my own home. I listened in one sitting, which isn't typical of me. Exciting and intense, the story drew me in and held me tight. I needed to solve the mystery asap! There are unpredictable twists and turns, keeping each chapter fresh as the Kings race toward a Halloween HEA. There is some explicit dirty talk and dirty sex- while in costume! Don't let the title influence you to wait until October- you need to listen now!

*Favorite one-liner: "Drop. The. Taco." - Reaper
