About this listen

Inside the minds of the world's most depraved serial killers.

Sunday Times best-selling author Christopher Berry-Dee is the man who talks to serial killers. A world-renowned investigative criminologist, he has gained the trust of murderers across the world, entered their high security prisons and discussed in detail their shocking crimes.

The killers' pursuit of horror and violence is described through the unique audiotape and videotape interviews which Berry-Dee conducted, deep inside the bowels of some of the world's toughest prisons.

Christopher Berry-Dee has collated these interviews into this astounding, disturbing book. Not only does he describe his meetings with some of the world's most evil men and women, he also reproduces, verbatim, their very words as they describe their crimes, allowing the listener a glimpse into the inner workings of the people who have committed the worst crime possible - to mercilessly take the life of another human being.

Please spare me your political opinions

I just wish the author would keep his political views to himself... im not necessarily a Trumper but I didn't come to listen to anti Trump or anti gun politics either... I just wanted to learn the psychology behind psychotic killers.

Like a Primer

This book was good for an introductory primer on serial killers. However, the author is a bit stuck on himself. He does verbalize the way most of us feel about serial killers’ excuses. However, this book only scratches the surface of the serial killers it profiles.

Dr Michael Stone he's not

Story 2/5
Narration 4/5

Hack psychology and unfunny quips dominate this book about killers. If the author stuck to the facts and didn't digress into his opinions, this book would have been average, but the author is no Dave Barry!

The author seems to be trying to emulate Dr Michael Stone's "Levels of Evil", but all he does is editorialize.

Recommendation - not even if you're a Brit
