Publisher's summary

Kennedy's pastor and mentor has always been outspoken. Maybe too outspoken.

Carl's no stranger to political controversy, but when his church comes under fire for hosting the Truth Warrior's men's retreat, women's rights activists and feminist leaders aren't the only ones worried that the conference will unduly restrict women's roles in the church and at home.

On a college campus where safe spaces threaten free speech and academic freedom only exists as long as other students aren't offended, Kennedy dares to defend her friend in Harvard's student newspaper. She unwillingly becomes the face of a controversy that not only jeopardizes her academic career but lands Pastor Carl in the hospital, struggling for his very survival.

A great soulful book

After the heartbreak of the last one. This emotional soul searching mystery romance was heartwarming and suspenseful.

Sad, Sorry, and Embarrassingly Ignorant

The narrator sounds as though she’s high or under hypnosis.

There is no “Department of Science” at Harvard or at any other major university. Also, the notion that a department Chair at ANY university would threaten to renege on an offer of Early Placement to a professional program because of a student’s silly opinion piece published in a university newspaper is beYOND risible.

As a progressive Christian who has a doctorate and post-doc fellowship earned at a major university, ALSO laughable is the goofy ostensible argument made by one of the author’s hair-on-fire liberal characters that progressives believe that ALL conservatives assert that ALL women should remain “enslaved” the home. sigh.

How authentically sad-and-sorry IS that evangelical troglodytes who gleefully lap up this foolishness eagerly condone the grisly racism, anti-Semitism, and moral bankruptcy of the Liar in Chief whom they have proudly elected to the Oval Office, AND are prepared to give him and his corrupt minions a second term.
