About this listen

Our time of initiation at the Jade Bastion is coming to an end. After two more weeks of grueling training, we will be sent out beyond the walls and into the Wilderlands. There, we will face monsters unlike anything we’ve seen before.

It is highly unlikely that all of us survive. More likely that none of us do.

But I am Leo Flint, thief of Ahnker, and I won’t allow any of my friends to die. Not while I still draw breath and can wield my Metal and Summoning magics.

Another great read from Dante.

One of my favorite series so far from Dante. Feels like GOT edge of the world past the wall without all the politicking and much more to the point.

It's a good story so far

it's a really good story though it does fall with some of the very cliche harem aspects they do it in a way that it's not a negative.

Not so much anime, but a good

A story line kind of like anime but definitely trys to cover all the bases in one and with a character who just keeps getting more and more capable

Really good

This one was a lot easier to like and enjoy compared to book 1 since there's no mention of the mark or them being told that they are prisoners. the finally venture to the monster infested forest and they learn some truths about the past and we finally learn something of the prophecy

Better than I expected…Again!

I keep saying this, but these stories by Dante King are way better than I would’ve believed from my own biased point of view.

First, the story, though by the numbers and easy to follow, is engaging and keeps my interest. Smutty Fantasy still resides here, of course, but the fantasy is quite good and makes up most of the book.

The narrators are doing a great job, as usual. The duo of Alexander and Rader clearly can keep up with most pairings you could think of.

Consistent, consistent, consistent. That’s the name of Dante King’s game. His stories have remained consistent throughout. My money is well spent keeping up with his special bit of “Adult Content”.

The dialogue is tediously redundant

The dialogue is tediously redundant. The main character is so pompous he’s unlikeable. Major cringe..
