About this listen
Twenty five billion people have appeared in the Gaia system unexpectedly, and only one person knows how or why.
Yet preparations for fifteen billion exist, but only one person remembers the work being done.
The one who knows, and the one who remembers, are the same, but Jane is not human.
So good is she at hiding being an Artificial Intelligence, no-one knows except her fellow AI's.
To her falls the responsibility for guiding Humanity as they come to terms with not knowing where they are.
The how and why seem simple to her, but twenty five into fifteen doesn’t fit, and humans don’t tend to get along when crowded together.
It really isn’t her problem, and yet, Jane feels obligated to make things work.
Humanity needs to spread out again, so who stays and who goes?
But is there somewhere to go to?
The galaxy doesn’t know about Humans yet, and they have their own problems.
Human problems collide with Alien problems, with Jane in the middle.
For Jane, everything is new.
She's no longer the hero's side-kick, but is in her own right, the Admiral of Gaia.

The war might be over, and the trade deal he made at the end of it might finally be enough for this wayward cat to be allowed back into cat society. The only thing faster than human ships, is the stories about their entry into sector ten, which ripple into the adjacent sectors. Story
All Thorn wanted was to be a Battle Mage. He had the talent, and his whole future was before him. On the day of Choosing, he finds things don't always go as planned. Suddenly Thorn's life is thrown into fast forward, and he finds himself in a world not of his own choosing. In a world of spaceships and blasters, instead of horses and swords, Thorn needs to adapt and survive, make new allies, and rediscover that although nothing is familiar, he's still a Mage, and pirates and slavers beware.

Story
It's been eighty years since Thorn split his people into six societies spread across the galaxy. He's known all that time a timeline shift was coming, and the role he needed to play when it did. The mages of his world are ready, including his great-great nephew, Bud. For Bud, living in the shadow of his legend relative hasn't really been an issue, and his role in the timeline shift is supposed to be minor. But Kali has an agenda, magic has its own agenda, and since Thorn is old, and tired of his people's reliance on him, he too has an agenda.

Finding the Dragon Homeworld wasn’t the momentous event they thought it would be. What isn’t yet known is the cost to the Imperium. And others. The tigers are not happy. Some dragons are not happy. And Bud isn’t happy. Is one planet really worth so much trouble? Was enabling the Dragon Host really a good idea after all? Do the highers have their own agenda here? Do the Keerah? Some of the past is now known, but why is this one planet so important to the galaxy? It seems like only Bud is asking the questions, and even he doesn’t know if they should be answered or not. But everything ...
