About this listen
Sarah has been thrust into a galaxy spanning war, where she has found herself to be the only hope for a race of aliens on the verge of total destruction.
Sarah is from Earth, but she hasn’t been there for months. She’s found a friend and lover in Gar, a handsome Zaytarian who has helped her out of more scrapes and dangerous situations than she can remember.
The Aeon’s are a psychic race of aliens who thrive on domination and driving other species to extinction, and they have their sights set on the Zaytarians. The only hope Gar and his people have is a small crystal Sarah has worn around her neck since childhood, a gift from her Geologist father. The crystal is the key to a doomsday weapon, one the Aeon’s hope to use soon. But under Sarah’s guidance, the key might be able to destroy the weapon and the threat of Aeon rule for good.
Will Sarah and Gar reach the weapon in time? Can anything stop the Aeon threat? And when it’s all over, is Sarah ever going to be able to leave the alien she’s fallen for and return to Earth so she can lead a normal life?

When the aliens came down and told us they’d enslave all of the human race if we didn’t send our bigliest warrior to participate in their arena death games, I laughed at them. It was really funny because they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Know what I mean? Then they said they would pick the greatest warrior, and they picked Marc Havak. He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.

Okay story
This was interesting and different. It was okay but didn’t have much depth. It is a short story and was quick to read. It is the third book in the series and they are not really standalones as they are very closely connected and all deal with continuing story and action. The story does end on a cliffhanger. Not a bad read but I did not connect to story and characters too much so just okay and entertaining.

Out of lockdown, into the volcano!
Sarah and Gar are still in a predicament. These books are short, but they are action packed and written very well. Sarah and Gar have a bond that comes with fighting for your lives together and surviving. It's not over yet. Sarah did her part to stop the Aeons, but did she make it back ok? I am excited for Aeon Ending.

Aeon War
Can't wait to listen to the next book Aeon Ended. I have loved the story which is as much as the narration. I love most of Amelia Wilson books and by adding the audiobooks! It really brings them to life.

Aeon War
Sarah has finally found out the truth and what she must do. Soon Gar and Sarah find themselves on a mission, but can they succeed before the Aeons find and destroy them?
Sarah’s adventure continues with this new mission. She is determined to save Gar and his people from the threat that the Aeon race brings them. This story moves along quickly and the relationship between Sarah and Gar deepens but can it withstand the knowledge that they are not sure where they stand after everything is done. The story moves along quickly and there is not a lot of depth to the characters. A war is going on and new characters are brought in. This book feels more like an outline and there is so much more that could be fleshed out in this storyline. Narrator Erin Coker keeps the narrative at a good pace with all that is going on.
