Great book and narration

Tuve la oportunidad de adquirir este libro en versión digital y la verdad es que disfruté leyendo y escuchando a la vez. Dos libros en uno, me gustó mucho aprender un poco más sobre la historia de África y su cultura.

African History?

This is a backhanded retelling of European and Arab people “civilizing” Africa. It’s a bs account glorifying the “contributions” of Arabs, Dutch, Roman, and English people crediting them for ancient African civilisations. The Israelites helped establish Nubia? Arabs or as the book called them - Asiatic people were responsible for the building of Ancient Egypt? This is racist bs packaged in such a pleasant manner, painting Africans in some kind of infantile, backwards people with no great accomplishments of their own. DO NOT WASTE YOYR MONEY. Unless you’re of European descent looking to bolster already deluded ideas of superiority. I wish I could rate it negative -10.
