Publisher's summary

John Taylor works in the Nightside - the gaudy, neon noir, secret heart of London, where it's always three in the morning, where gods and monsters make deals and seek pleasures they won't find anywhere else. He has a gift for finding things. And sometimes what he's hired to locate can be very, very dangerous indeed.

Right now, for example, he's searching for The Unholy Grail, the cup that Judas drank from at the Last Supper. It corrupts all who touch it - but it also gives enormous power. So he's not the only one hunting. Angels, devils, sinners, and saints - they're all out there, tearing apart The Nightside, seeking the dark goblet.

And it's only a matter of time until they realize that the famous John Taylor, the man with the gift for finding things, can lead them straight to it....

Really enjoyed this

I really love the setting, the characters and the storyline. I think I liked this one even better than the last one. Can’t wait to read more. Wish they had bundled these novels since they’re very short.

Hey Jude...

Just a small amount of beautiful in this story. Redemption and forgiveness reveals are sweet.

Fun

I really love the Nightside where everything is for sale. The characters really reflect the world that they live in and destructive angels are just fun

a genre all of its own

the night side series has been a favorite of mine since I was just a girl remember stealing my dad's copy of the first book and reading it in secret because it's a grown-up book and I was afraid he would take it away from me I fell in love with John Taylor then and here I am 20 years later still in love with him. with high fantasy lowbrow humor and that beautifully gritty noir the night side series has something for everyone make sure to grab your copy at the nearest app store today

Solid writing with a good style and take on modern fantasy

Gritty, well written and a good itch scatter for Dresden fans. The performance is okay - but doesn’t mesh 100% with the writing style, but still very enjoyable.

Roots of trauma

The night side series is dark violent and very funny also. we get a deeper dive into Taylor's very effed up origin story, his 'business' practices and a brief look into to his assistant/apprentice and a solid meeting with Shotgun Suzie and her horrific childhood, she is so dark and still funny. Her part in the series grows from here. if you've always felt different, other, these are our people.

Spoiler Alert ** Trigger Alert

‘Good’ vs. ‘Evil’ storyline has gratuitous violence with rape, incest, abortion, religious doctrine, graphic gore, and torture themes.
