Helpful for those who know nothing or a lot about money

This book is similar to Dave Ramsey style but very condensed so easy to digest. Helpful system of how much money should go where.

Great guide to personal finance

Top notch production quality, lovingly read by the authors. Very easy to follow with simple language and a down to earth approach, tackles the real problems facing today's families and individuals. These ladies have impeccable credentials, look them up and you'll be impressed. Highly recommended.

Amazing in every way!

Practical and inspiring, chock full of wisdom, know-how, and heart. it is great hearing Elizabeth Warren and her daughter reading their own words. They are honest, firm, and compassionate in just the right proportions and have a great sense of humor, too.

Accessible, Do-able and Life Changing!

Please! I would like to see access to the 'forms' through Audible, which I would have received on a CD.

I took a "financial peace" course a couple years ago, but was overwhelmed by it. Maybe the time is now right for me to see it, but 'Worth' is basic and understandable.

Practical, well-written how to on budgeting

Written by a mother-daughter team, who also charmingly narrate their book, this is a very down-to-earth guide to managing a budget. The book is well-organized and comes with downloadable worksheets to follow through on their plan. Operating with the fundamental premise that our budgets should be dedicated to a 50-30-20 ratio for "must-haves," "wants," and "savings," the authors guide readers/listeners through the steps to put this plan into action. This book is great for anyone trying to better manage their budget, whether you're a homeowner or a renter, deep in credit card debt or not, or dealing with high cost-of-living that is eating your income up.

Good

It has good insight but the talking is a little long and drawn out. I recommend listen at 1.5 speed.

Clear and concise basics

Would you listen to All Your Worth again? Why?

I will listen to this again because it was enjoyable and educational. I will skip the chapters on bankruptcy the second time around though because I am far from needing that advice.

What about Elizabeth Warren and Amelia Warren Tyagi ’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed the voice of EW best.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions, but I was looking for simple reminders of personal financial success. I am a single woman in her 40's, make a nice living and support myself. However, I have a problem with impulse spending and emotional spending. Retail therapy has recently taken a big bite out of my savings, so I turned to this book to get me back on track. I found what I was looking for here. No, they don't talk about emotional spending, but I didn't really expect them to.

Any additional comments?

If you need clear advice on paying down debts, figuring out your real must-haves and trimming the ones you don't really need, and finally saving money, this book can go a long way to get you there. It is over a decade old, but the basics here are never outdated.

What a wonderful surprise

I thought that this book would be “good for me” like eating my spinach. I didn’t expect to really love it. Where were these wise women 30 years ago when I needed them? Even at my relatively advanced age, I found myself doing the needed calculations to stay “in balance”. If I had done this for the 47 years of my working life, I would be a very happy multimillionaire right now ( instead of trying to work until I’m 75). The advice is very easy and makes perfect sense. Listening to this book is like sitting down with 2 very intelligent friends. They are warm, compassionate, and funny. I know that Elizabeth Warren has a net worth of $12 million, but it is very obvious that she was not always wealthy. It is truly remarkable that a Harvard Law Professor and her daughter who has a Wharton MBA can be “just plain folks”. This book is truly time well spent. Even at my age, I am going to implement their plans.

Fantastic follow up

I was excited to see that these scholar servants had not only done the research to "scare me straight," but were also going to take the time to walk me out of the wilderness I know understood I was in. I have followed Dave Ramsey for YEARS, and really love his work but these books have helped me understand the gaps in understanding I had, the history behind my situation and that there wasn't some defect in my character that was preventing me from getting ahead. Something clicked in a new way. A new journey is ahead.

Different perspectives are always good

The information presented is similar to others I’ve read regarding budgeting. The difference is however the perspective that is presented. It acknowledges the challenges you may face but it attempts to walk you through them.
