Publisher's summary

Is America a source of pride, as Americans have long held, or shame, as Progressives allege? Beneath an innocent exterior, are our lives complicit in a national project of theft, expropriation, oppression, and murder? Or is America still the hope of the world?

New York Times best-selling author Dinesh D'Souza says these questions are no mere academic exercise. It is the Progressive view that is taught in our schools, that is preached by Hollywood, and that shapes the policies of the Obama administration. If America is a force for inequality and injustice in the world, its power deserves to be diminished; if traditional America is based on oppression and theft, then traditional America must be reformed - and the federal government can do the reforming.

In America: Imagine a World Without Her D'Souza offers a passionate and sharply reasoned defense of America, knocking down every important accusation made by Progressives against our country.

Provocative in its analysis, stunning in its conclusions, Dinesh D'Souza's America will be the most talked about audiobook of the year.

Everyone Should Hear This!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book to a friend and have! Every American should know the truth about our great country and be aware of those who wish to see it's destruction. After learning the facts you will love this country even more. Now if only we can still restore it to how it was intended to be, before it's too late.

Excellent Research, Rationale and Recommendation

D'Souza clearly understands the history and the current forces working within America. His foresight of possible outcomes gives the greatly needed guidance to preserve the true beneficence of America. This is a critical time for America and the world.

This is one of the very greatest books I have ever read.

A must-read for all Americans!

In his book, D'Souza clearly and persuasively dispels the falsehoods disseminated by modern progressives. His message is clear, logical and based on historical fact and universal truths. I think this is a must-read for all Americans - especially millennials!

What every American should know

What did you love best about America?

The truth, the history - a real eye opener.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The story was told as it is.

Which character – as performed by Walter Dixon – was your favorite?

Obama as the Lucifer

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The movie is already made

Any additional comments?

Each point was well-researched and poignant. Like a skilled orator, seemingly every claim Dinesh D'Souza makes is more powerful and daunting than the last. By the time you are done listening your worldview should be changed forever.

Honest US history from an immigrant

Would you listen to America again? Why?

Yes. There is simply too much fascinating information to glean from one listen. It was too interesting not to listen again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

America. Because America is the greatest country the world has ever seen. She may be lost now, maybe sick or even dead, but she is still the greatest.

Have you listened to any of Walter Dixon’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not extreme. But very gratifying listen.

Truth

Unfortunately, D’Souza was so right. He can see the uniqueness and the effectiveness of the American Dream. Also unfortunately, many Americans can not.

Screw You Costco!

Would you listen to America again? Why?

Great author who tells the truth that the progressives do not want anyone to hear. Costco removed this book from all their stores and immediately the book went to #1. You can NOT keep the American people quiet. Liberal intolerance will be stamped out every time!
