Fun and informative. It's very informal but it's an easy interesting listen.

The narrator did a great job. Very enjoyable.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

I am planning on retiring to Mexico in about 10 years and this was a great resource.

Being a COLORED person inside the USA is DANGEROUS! But the question is...how faraway is Southern Mexico from Belize?

I was interested in this audiobook because my husband is from Mexico and it's possible that we'll end up moving down there in the future. This audiobook is more like a collection of podcast posts than an actual 'professional' sounding audiobook, but that didn't bother me too much (like it would if this had been a work of fiction) - and I actually got a kick out of hearing Bill the Geek break out into chuckles at various points throughout. I liked the informal tone and felt it was organized pretty well with a lot of useful information. I may listen to it again and take notes the next time so I can do further research.

Recommended to anyone thinking about moving south of the border.

An interesting listen!

This has some good advice. 10% of information is useable but everything else is Polly Anna, Blue Sky, etc, scenario. On one hand I applaud his positive description of Mexico, and he is correct that there are many good places for North Americans to live. On the other hand there are many ways for a dream to become a nightmare. DO YOUR RESEARCH. PLAN FOR THE WORST.

BUYER BEWARE. This has some good advice but...

This appears to be a collection of podcasts.. It is obvious that the author enjoys his life and gives a very good account of what living in Mexico is really like for an expat who chooses to enjoy his surroundings, but if you are looking for a lot of information on exactly what to do to accomplish the transition, you will only find glimpses in Bill's entertaining stories.

A few solid points that will help in the future, but, overall, many things missed or not quite correct. I'm a casual tourist in Mexico every few years. It's almost painful he's admittedly lived in Mexico for 10 years.

Thank you Bill the Geek, you've inspired me to pursue creating my own content in Playa del Carmen.

It's $5, it's worth $3.
