About this listen

The thrilling new novel from international bestseller Jeffrey Archer!

In one of the most luxurious cities on earth…

A billion-dollar deal is about to go badly wrong. A lavish night out is about to end in murder. And the British government is about to be plunged into crisis.

In the heart of the British establishment…

Lord Hartley, the latest in a line of peers going back over two hundred years, lies dying. But his will triggers an inheritance with explosive consequences.

Two deaths. Continents apart. No obvious connection.

So why are they both at the centre of a master criminal's plot for revenge?

And can Scotland Yard's William Warwick uncover the truth before it's too late…

One More

I love this series. I was surprised that this book didn’t wrap up the story. I thought it was the last. To my great joy, there is another book coming next year. I can’t wait.

Another Great Book!

I love this series and the constant drama between Warrick and Faulkner! This book left you with a cliff hanger and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Outstanding

Jefrey Archer always writes such good books. I have listened to the entire William Warrick series as well as the Clifton Chronicles and feel like the characters are old friends. This book was no exception. His writing, description of the issues and characters are simply outstanding. This book also shows the interrelationship between the British and the Americans which has stood throughout time, except during the Revolutionary War. I highly recommend not only this book, but the entire series. Thank you, Mr. Archer, for another outstanding book!

This is not a William Warwick book. So disappointed.

It’s all about Ross. William and the rest are just a side note. I listened to the end, but am returning.
