A gloriously fun romantic suspense novel by a bestselling author

Please note: this book was first published as The Windrush Affairs.

Does money really buy happiness? Or will it bring these two women more than they bargained for?

Orphan Harriet Jensen inherits a beautiful manor house and turns it into the successful Windrush Hotel. But her estranged relatives—including the handsome Giles—believe they should have inherited the property. Despite their battles, Harriet and Giles find themselves drawn to each other.

Vania McAllen runs away to England from her stifling life in America. She gets a job in Harriet’s hotel and the two become firm friends. Then, the man she loves tracks her down. But can she trust him or is he only after her money?

For Harriet and Vania, their inheritance seems more trouble than it’s worth.

Don’t miss this gripping and enjoyable romantic suspense novel perfect for fans of Danielle Steele, Josephine Cox, Nora Roberts, or Jackie Collins.

I gave this a chance for about 4 hours too long. Meh. Not worth the time. The plot becomes extremely trite & predictable. I detested the quavery voice of the narrator & could not finish it. There are too many other good books to read/ listen to.
