Publisher's summary

Former NASA technician Otto Binder was a distinguished science writer specializing in space and the UFO phenomenon. He was the author of 10 science books and wrote many science articles for national magazines in the 1950s and '60s.

He was editor-in-chief for Space World magazine, a publication geared toward astronauts. He was a member of NICAP, the National Aerospace Education Council, the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the American Rocketry Association, the National Association of Rocketry, and the Aerospace Writers Association, among others.

In the classic Ancient Aliens and Other Unsolved Mysteries of the Past, Binder takes us inside the world of ancient astronauts, using real science to make the case for their existence.

Binder describes a cavalcade of astounding discoveries and superhuman accomplishments, such as:

  • The 12,000-year-old stone disks discovered in China that describe the landing of spaceships.
  • Ancient Chaldean writings, 7,000 years old, containing detailed plans for building a flying saucer.
  • The undisputed fact that Aurignacian Man (circa 30,000 BC) had a brain case 100 centimeters larger than that of modern man.
  • The disappearance of the planet Vulcan, once familiar to 19th-century astronomers but now vanished without a trace.
  • The Black Pagoda of India, a colossal structure that could not possibly have been erected by normal Earthmen.
  • The vast Pacific civilization known as Mu, which flourished 270,000 years ago.

It never changes

Weather written in the 1960s or 2018 the stories are all the same. Legitimate people have spotted aliens archaeologists have found bond of giants. Why people still seem to deny the tons and tons of evidence is beyond me if you can’t prove they don’t exist why do you deny those who prove they do exist. This is a great book from a very learned and experience men who work for NASAWhat is the head of the scientific magazine whose name I cannot remember. Just trust me when I say this man’s credentials will blow any denial credentials out of water. He was respected by his peers and even respected by those who didn’t agree with them. He himself was a witness to a lot of things he writes in this book so you can say they don’t exist or it never happened, but what research did you do to prove that probably none. This man put his money where his mouth was when they had times and dates so I think I’m going to believe him.

Fun Fantastic Outrageous

The author really swings for the fences no apologies or beating around the bush! It’s interesting to see so many ideas from today were already established back then. He goes into a lot more theory and conjecture then what you see today.
