Plain spoken truths

I am about to go through this surgery, and was looking for some comfort. I did find it but was a little dismayed by the many times the author told me, “but don’t think about that”.
Everyone experiences life differently and a couple of the things he mentions as not being available are now, 13 years later, much more common place.
Overall I enjoyed it.
