Publisher's summary

I never thought I’d have a bounty on my head the size of the Milky Way.

Of course, I never thought I’d be able to bend time, either.

But hey, life is full of surprises.

Don’t get me wrong, feeling like a goddess has its perks, but those perks come with a hefty price. My brain is tapioca. I’m stranded in the middle of dead space. Ratters are using me for target practice, and a giant, cybernetic monster named Oscar wants to use me for a chew toy.

All this because I played superhero (or thief, according to some) and snatched a doomsday device from an intergalactic mobster.

So, if I don’t make it out of here alive, remember this:

Above all else, I want a Viking funeral.

A Fun Trip Through Time

This is my review for the audio version of this book. If you'd like to see my review of the book and thoughts on the story in general, please follow the link at the end.

I loved this book the first time reading it and getting the chance to listen to the audiobook afterwards was just as enjoyable. The book is a lot of fun with over-the-top characters and lots of whitty dialogue. Katherine Littrell does a fantastic job of bringing Dakota Adams to life in this story and capturing her personality. She also does a great job with all the other characters, everyone from loyal sidekicks to murderous robots. I don't often go through the same story multiple times (especially in such a short time between readings), but I'm glad that this was still every bit as enjoyable the second time through. If you're a fan of audiobooks with fun, quirky characters and crazy sci-fi action, I think you'll love this book.

Time hopping space adventure

Galen Surlak-Ramsey delivered another great story! No over the top technical discussions that make you feel stupid. No brooding hero/heroine who questions every decision. Great battles, wonderful characters, interesting story line - lots of fun! The only issue I had was the main character was given an Australian accent. I am not sure if this was the narrators decision or the author but it sometimes made the character too cute and lacked some strength. Overall, Katherine Littrell gave a wonderful performance and I truly enjoyed this story.

Fun listen, try not to over think it

So the main character Dakota is a 20ish year old girl Indiana Jones wanna be, in the far future. Her exploits are fun, the fighting gets intense (even against home made robots) just a great listen all around. the narrator was awesome, gotta love that South African flair. This is an honest review, click on my name and you will see i just don't hand out 5 stars, so be assured i feel this book is well worth the credit. like I said this is an entertaining listen, just like the real Indiana Jones, you don't need to overthink it.

WTF Happened?

Man wtf happened? I have really been enjoying the Gorgon books but this book is just dumb. The "Heroine" is an addle brained idiot who is constantly, and I do mean constantly, screwing up. She has the ability to portal and time travel anywhere and any when and she acts like a freaking 5yo! I could only get through about 30% before the stupid factor got to be too much.
