Terrific Narrator Choices for this Romance Bundle

Where does Baby, It's Cold Outside rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This has been one of my favourite audiobooks to listen to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really enjoyed the stories written by Kate Meader and Jennifer Probst.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Kate Meader's story Flirting With Fire has the main character Beck voiced by Sebastian York. He's my favourite!

Any additional comments?

All of the stories in this bundle were well written with interesting storylines and engaging characters. The narrators did a fabulous job and had voices well suited to the stories. I'm so glad I bought this!

3 out of 5

I listened to this book of stories because of Emma Chase. I have listened to other books by her and this story was about two of her characters in another book. I’d never heard of the other authors, and really like the first author Kristin Proby. Then there were two authors in between and honestly they could’ve been written by 8th graders with porn involved. So poorly crafted and the narrators added to the pedestrian stories about nothing.
It’s really important to have great narrators… they can sometimes help a poor story along. But an uninspired narrator and stupid plots don’t help. I’m still on the fence about the last story, but Sebastian York was the male narrator.. honestly he could read a phone book and I’d listen. I am going to find some other books by Kristin Proby. I think I might like her books.

A mixed bag of holiday stories - the first three from familiar series

It would have been handy to have had a brief introduction to each story placing it into which series each story was part of in case the reader was unfamiliar or wanted to hear more. The five short stories varied and were an anthology not meant to relate to each other which seems to have resulted in some confusion in the reviews. The books details indicated this but didn’t elicit the series of each or in what order they fit with other books in each series so it appears to be a bit confusing. The narration was also mixed with stories performed by familiar pros - Madeleine Maby, Sebastian York but stories 3&4 were read by Elizabeth Louise and Deacon Lee who were only so-so. Not a bad choice if you like some of these series but would be great if it had been added to the Romance Package.

Saving Grace

I have only listened to Saving Grace by Kristen Proby, so I'm limiting my review to that audio. This is a novella that connects with Proby's Love Under the Big Sky series, and I absolutely loved this! The same narrators from that series did this story- Deacon Lee and Elizabeth Louise- did a fantastic job!

Mixed feelings

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Get rid of some of the stories and develop others.

If you’ve listened to books by the authors before, how does this one compare?

It felt juvenile. The problem with short stories is that the ho from meet/cute to madly in love. There's no character development so it feels unbelievable.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The performances were all great. This is a collection of some of my favorites, BUT having the narrators read more than one short story was a little confusing. It ft like the characters were crossing over.

Any additional comments?

I checked this out specifically because of Emma Chase. Drew's story made me sad. I think I'd suggest saving the money and credit.

Making the Holidays bright!

Sometimes I wonder if I listen to the same books that others write reviews for and rate.
This should be a clear 5-stars!! Very fun, sexy and over all enjoyable listen! Sweet stories with plenty of laughs (especially Drew Evans, love him!). And for those that want to know, plenty of heat.
Baby, It's Cold Outside is definitely worth a credit. I will be listening to this again!

Three great stories

This is my second listen and the stories are worth it. The narrators
were able to bring the story to life.
