Fun stroll through modern era conservative thought

Super fun trying to guess which year each essay was written.

The opinions are as always insightful and incisive, leaving me yelling “right?!” at the audio device more than once.

But honestly, this is not what I need from Dr. Sowell.

I need statistical evidence and analysis from one of the greatest thinkers of the last 80 years; The cool, dispassionate dissection of data that separates the good Doctor from every other right wing blow hard. Works like White Liberals and Black Rednecks that systematically expose cultural and geographical origins and impacts - and the permanence or impermanence thereof.

This was more like listening to your favorite wise old uncle wax philosophical at a barbecue- soundly reasoned, but mostly opinions. Still - it was a treat to sit at Uncle Sowell’s knee for a few hours.

All students must read!

If you can only get your child to read one book, make it this collection of wisdom. Thomas Sowell is the Confucius of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Uncommon Sense

Timeless wisdom, his older commentaries still ring true and oddly explain current events. I always enjoy his work.

A national treasure

Mr Sowell once again writes another great collection of thoughts that are relevant and should be examined in today’s world.

Mr. Sowell exposed the soul of America.

Thomas Sowell is an absolute genius. We already knew that. Thomas has yet again said what we all saw what we all knew put it all into words and slammed it on the table and said "NOW HERE IT ALL IS NOW DO SOMETHING " . we can no longer ignore , cover it all up , ! Its time has come and Mr. Sowell did all the work for us. Thomas Sowell is Americas blessing and conscience.

The common sense of the greatest thinker of my lifetime.

Most of this was written almost three decades ago, and everything seems like current news.
