i kind of wish I had more story of Amber and Gabriel growing up cause that love story was so sweet but I understand why we moved on.

I will say I got confused at times with all the names and what was going on once they got to where they were going so I had to rewind it.

All in all I loved the romance part of it and am intrigued to see where it goes from here with the story line

I loved this book. It was a well thought out story that kept me engaged and waiting for more. The reading was fine, but you could tell where they edited the narrative as the volume was not even close and it was distracting. Still I recommend the book.

I had no expect a tions of this story as it is a new author to me, I was pleasantly surprised by how great the story was. I was captivated from the beginning with so many questions and twists. The audible version is awesome I loved the narration. I can't wait to listen/ read more

I loved the story and the voice of the narrator. The story was unique and didn't have any of the silly love triangle stuff of now days which was refreshing! Looking forward to reading and listening to the rest of the series!

the narrator was fantastic. the story started well and was difficult to follow near the end. if i had not promised a fair review, i would not have finished the book. the storyline was interesting, but there were too many people to follow. i couldnt keep up.

Interesting story that illustrates the struggle of a girl brought up in the foster system and discovering that she is not human.

Enjoyed the narrator. I normally have to "speed them up", but felt she had a good speed. She also had good voices for the characters.
